Why doesn’t our portable X-ray machine need a darkroom?
Our portable X-ray machine consists of a main unit and an external power supply. The main unit features a C-arm structure, increasing the observation radius of objects, and is made of ABS engineering plastic, improving insulation. Thanks to its compact, high-gain, high-resolution MCP (Multi-Chip Image Intensifier), a clear X-ray image can be observed without a darkroom. The X-ray tube’s electrical control uses advanced pulse width modulation technology and incorporates multiple protection measures, improving the accuracy of various indicators and ensuring high operational stability and noiseless operation. Strict protective measures minimize X-ray leakage, requiring no protective equipment for operators. This machine is suitable for hospital hand and foot microsurgery, traditional Chinese medicine bone setting, forensic diagnosis in public security, non-destructive testing of materials and components in industrial sectors, and use by athletes, military personnel, in field operations, and for security checks.

When the power is connected and the start button is pressed, the entire machine begins to operate. The pulse signal from the main controller is amplified and multiplied to generate high voltage for the X-ray tube anode. Similarly, the pulse signal from the main controller II is amplified and sent to the X-ray tube filament, causing the X-ray tube to produce X-rays, which are displayed on the digital display panel in KV/μA. At this time, the object being tested is placed between the X-ray source and the image intensifier, and the image intensifier’s display shows a clear image of the object. To ensure stable and reliable operation, the system employs pulse width modulation technology to maintain constant tube current and voltage, ensuring the X-ray tube operates at its optimal state. It also features a high-voltage slow-start function to prevent high-voltage overshoot at the X-ray tube anode. The main controller uses miniature surface-mount devices and operates at a frequency of 20kHz, greatly improving the overall system efficiency, eliminating noise, providing a quiet operating environment for operators, and reducing the overall size. The fluoroscopy unit uses a high-frequency, high-efficiency switching power supply with comprehensive protection measures. To ensure the safety of the fluoroscopy unit, multiple protection devices are added to make it safe and reliable.
